For me the creative process needs a center piece, a focus. The idea starts on a piece of canvas, but it only remains there for a few seconds before taking on a life of its own. I literally surrender to it, becoming the vehicle, piloted and navigated by its own flow. I can’t label my work. It’s neither minimalism, expressionism nor anything in between.
