Born in Maine, Lincoln has spent most of his life in Las Vegas, and the southwest. Living in the desert, it was only natural for him to develop a vision that is linear in form and organic in color. One of Nevada’s most passionate, creative and talented contemporary artists, he has been creating for decades. His works are collected internationally, and are on display in private and corporate collections across the country.
His passion exudes through his current series; "Rhythms of the Earth". Recycling is large part of what Lincoln has incorporated into this body of work. Intense, colorful spheres that were once performance used drum heads, are encompassed by precision framing that completes each unique piece. The "Rhythms of the Earth" Series is a ‘Green’ series of paintings reflecting the colors, forms and energies of the earth, incorporating the round form of both the earth and the drum heads that are part of each of the works. Lincoln personally assembles each of the custom wood frames for the paintings.
