Marguerite Casparian identified as an artist in Kindergarten, and 25 years later had an established career as an illustrator. After earning a BFA in graphic arts she painted for Hallmark Cards for 8 years. She then began to freelance for major printers, card companies, & ad agengies, and illustrated Childrens Picture Books for Orchard Press.
In the early 90's she and her family moved to Italy and she redisscovered her passion for painting and for 9 years painted her experiences in Florence.
Now living in New York she had the opportunity to begin an encaustic workshop which now allows her to work with yet another medium experimenting with pure pigments, beeswax, and heat.
