Chase Edwards Galleries, in collaboration with Cavalier Galleries, is pleased to announce the return of Danish artist Bjorn Skaarup's iconic 15 ft Hippo Ballerina to New York City! Installed earlier this week at Pershing Square Plaza, the monumental hippo sculpture is accompanied by the 6-foot Hippo Ballerina, pirouette and Rhino Harlequin, pirouette.
The public sculpture installation at Pershing Square Plaza, located at the South entrance of Grand Central Terminal between 41st and 42nd Street, will be on view through the end of the year.
In addition to the public installation at Pershing Square Plaza, Cavalier Galleries, will be hosting a feature exhibition of Skaarup's work at their New York City location at 3 W 57th St, 4th Floor through May 24th.
