Artist’s Statement

I have a theory that all good artists are philosophers at heart, sharing our two

cents about humanity, relationships, creation, and all-things-deep in our own

delightfully messy way.

My work reflects my own philosophies about creation and society, frequently

attempting to twist the viewer’s mind around something unexpected.

Salt and Light Studios is located in Fort Myers, Florida, just south of Florida’s

burgeoning “Glass Coast.” Owner and artist LouAnn Wukitsch formed Salt and

Light Studios in 2015 after spending many years in the worlds of advertising,

corporate marketing and art consulting. LouAnn continues to broaden her

knowledge of warm glass techniques through instruction from nationally and

internationally-acclaimed artists.
